History

Rick Phillips (owner) started in wood floors in 1982 and has been in the flooring business full-time since 1990. Phillips’ Hardwood Floors was established in 1993 in Des Moines, IA.  In 1998 Rick moved to Omaha and opened Phillips Hardwood Floors of Nebraska, Inc. Today, Rick still works in the field and plays an integral role in the installation and all aspects of the finishing process.
